Meet James Fraser
James Fraser is a specialist DSA mentor, study skills practitioner, and assistive technology trainer, and the founder of All Minds Support.
Based in the UK, he supports neurodivergent university students through calm, strengths‑based mentoring that creates space to think clearly, build confidence, and move forward with study in a sustainable way.
With over a decade of experience supporting students through the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA), James combines academic strategy, assistive technology, and trauma‑informed practice. His background in psychology and education (PGCE, BSc Hons) shapes an approach that values trust, rhythm, and clarity over pressure or performance.
His work draws on research‑informed mentoring, creative thinking, and practical study skills to help students reconnect with their own ways of learning. Sessions focus on regulation, structure, and collaborative problem‑solving — supporting students to develop independence and confidence within higher education.
All Minds Support provides specialist DSA‑aligned mentoring, study skills, and assistive technology support for neurodivergent university students across the UK.
James is a member of the Dyslexia Guild (ADG) and works in line with current NMH and DSA guidance.
Outside of his mentoring practice, he remains involved in music and creative work, exploring the relationship between sound, attention, and learning.
